In an emergency, every second counts. That’s why members of the Shields Asphalt Paving Team took time this week to learn to recognize and respond to medical emergencies. The course was taught by representatives of The American Red Cross at Northern Tier Regional Library. It included hands on lessons in CPR and wound care.
Shields Asphalt Paving takes safety seriously! Last week, some of our team members took the NSC Driver Safety Training program at Northern Tier Regional Library. The course touched on numerous issues related to diver safety, including defensive driving, distracted and impaired driving and roadway conditions. The Team at Shields Asphalt Paving is proud to have rallied a donation worth $1,350 for the “Colbee Regis Lovich Memorial.” Our donation was one of the offerings at the non-profit organization’s fundraiser Aug. 12, which raised a total of $46,194.
